Pennsylvania in the news...

okay okay, you all know I am DEFINITELY a Philly fan... but, with the Pittsburgh boyfriend and all, I must say I partially converted for a few months. It was kind of sad, really. I waved a Terrible Towel and listened to frighteningly odd (but hysterical) songs to the tune of old random songs... (Mahna Mahna anyone?) But, it was a good time. And George had such a great time watching all the games that it was just impossible not to enjoy myself. So, congrats to all the Steelers fans who have wanted "one for the thumb" for all these years. well done.

on other random notes-- is it me or were the Rolling Stones terrible! seriously! They are so OLD! and playing new tracks to promote a new album duing the SUPER BOWL? definitely thought that was a little tacky. I also didn't think the commercials were up to par... what was with that Hummer one?! BUT-- LOVED the magic fridge and the streaking sheep!!! gotta love Super Sunday (and the Monday Morning water cooler chats)...

Well, after the crazy weekend, I sat down to watch one of my favorite weekly shows-- Wife Swap. And, I must say, as soon as they said the woman was from PA and I saw her, I knew she had to be from Bucks County. and yes, I was right... she was representing Northampton Township, and I must say she didn't do it very well. But, it was still fun to see my hometown(ship) on TV. makes me a little homesick. can't believe they made her switch with a Christian farm woman from Tennessee with 8 kids though... ahhh great TV :Þ

ok off to relax. hope everyone has a good week!
